The Doctors of Woodstock Health Institute

Dr. Bruce Stevens, D.C.
Board-Certified in Neuropathy | Founder of Woodstock Health Institute

I’ve been in practice since 1993, and over the years, one truth has become clear: there is virtually no meaningful help available for people suffering from neuropathy. Most are given medications that only mask the symptoms—leaving them groggy, discouraged, and often worse off.

That’s why my team and I at Woodstock Health Institute have chosen a different path. Through a unique, non-invasive approach focused on restoring nerve health, we’ve helped many patients not just improve—but actually reverse—the effects of neuropathy, allowing them to regain quality of life they thought was gone.

My passion for neuropathy care began close to home. At age 94, my mother developed neuropathy that left her unsteady and in pain. Around the same time, my daughter and son-in-law discovered new approaches showing real promise in slowing and even reversing nerve damage. That sparked my journey. I applied what I was learning with my mom—and I’m happy to say she’s experienced real relief, better balance, and improved sensation in her feet.

I’ve been married to my wife, Rene, since 1994. She’s been with me every step of the way in life and in practice. Together, we’ve discovered the power of growing something meaningful as a couple—rooted in faith, healing, and a deep commitment to service. We believe in doing work that matters, and doing it together.

For me, success isn’t just about health—it’s about wholeness. That includes family, spiritual and physical well-being, a healthy self-concept, and living with freedom and purpose. Helping others pursue that kind of life is one of the greatest honors there is.
